Equality and diversity
Our programmes are based around the Equality tool-kit.
We give you all the practical support you need to up-date and re-energise your approach to equality and diversity – apart, of course, from the leadership and commitment. And we can help you with these too.
Approach
The approach we take is forward-looking and comprehensive, designed to empower and instil confidence.
It’s about supporting you to find creative solutions to structural racism and institutional discrimination.
Don’t expect something simplistic or formulaic. We want it to be realistic and supportive, up-to-date, and maybe a bit challenging.
There’s no ‘box-ticking’.
The Equality tool-kit supports you with:
· A clear definition of the concepts and what they mean in practice
· Examples of good diversity practice from other places
· Techniques for tackling realistic equality dilemmas
· Case studies based on real examples
· Ideas for moving forward
We work with you on linking equality and diversity to your values, your business plan and your day-to-day work.
Our consultancy comes with plenty of support for putting it all into practice.
Recent clients include:

Diversity in action
Diversity in Action is a workshop of serious thinking with a light touch, a mix of challenging ideas and enjoyable participation, a great way to re-energise equality and diversity. The presentations are interspersed with sketches performed by actors, live or on video. It’s ideal for large groups of staff, up to 80 participants. It can be a half-day or full-day programme, and is customized to your needs.
The event starts with examples of good equality practice and a challenging quiz on the state of equality and inequality in the UK today. We cover the Equality tool-kit and apply it to some tricky realistic dilemmas. We also present some landmark legal cases in ‘You, the Jury’, and discuss topical issues in ‘Breaking News’.
Our clients include:
TEN Group – Norfolk, Uxbridge College, Kent County Council, SEEVIC College and Medway Council, Norwich Academy.
